Materials

Why Fiberglass?

We use Owens Corning Fiberglas™ insulation products manufactured from 70% reclaimed recycled material, with no harsh chemicals and all natural binders made from maltodextrin (a sugar derivative) that is soft to the touch.

Why Mineral Wool?

Mineral wool contains a minimum of 70% recycled content, and it’s non-combustible, inorganic and mold-resistant. Thermafiber® from Owens Corning is the #1 specified brand of commercial mineral wool.* Mineral wool insulation resists fire and temperatures in excess of 2,000˚F while also providing sound control and energy conservation.

As a semi-rigid product that is easy to cut and install, its flexibility allows it to conform to building shapes and construction irregularities. With 70% minimum recycled content, Thermafiber® contributes to LEED® building programs. Additionally, it resists mold and fungi and is vermin-proof due to its inorganic material.

Why Spray Foam?

Spray foam creates an unsurpassed air barrier insulation system that is the most effective way to insulate any type of building. This air barrier not only delivers thermal resistance against conduction (R-value) that surpasses batted and blown fiberglass and cellulose, it also has a higher R-value per inch so it’s more efficient at insulating with less material required. Spray foam dramatically reduces energy loss through convection and is best suited for residential and commercial new construction, remodels and new addition projects.
